The Woytopia sustainable living festival celebrates sustainable living on the Woy Woy Peninsula on the NSW Central Coast with green talks, gardening workshops, presentations and an eco-market featuring stalls from organic produce to hemp clothing. But you don’t have to be a greenie to enjoy Woytopia — it’s a fantastic family day out with great music, delicious food, and a heap of kids’ entertainment.

Woytopia is organised by the Peninsula Environment Group (see below), run by volunteers and funded by a mix of grants, local business sponsors, stall fees and entry donations. Most musicians, entertainers and stallholders at Woytopia are Peninsula or Central Coast locals.

There have been Woytopia festivals in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016 with attendances around 3000. We were unable to hold Woytopia 2020 due to Covid-19.

Woytopia is a waste and water-wise event run on 100% green power.

Peninsula Environment Group (PEG)

PEG is a local non-profit incorporated association. As well as organising Woytopia, PEG also runs a community garden, an organic food-buying co-op, a nature play group, and auspices GUST (Grow Urban Shade Trees). We love new members and new ideas for projects. For more information about PEG, visit peg.org.au
